What is church? Is it relevant and accessible?
These are questions that I constantly ask myself. I believe that
God wants to be in every part of people's lives and that includes
the way they express themselves most effectively. For too long worship
has been put into boxes and if your expression don't fit the box
then tough!
This is wrong and not what God wants - He wants worship in spirit
and in truth - how can you do that in a form that's alien to you??!
Today our generation is so used to well produced presentations
around us - adverts, films, music - that church has to replicate
that same style if it is to reach out to the lost.
Many traditional ways of doing church just don't cut it today.
Reaching the lost where they are is what my work is about - taking
the gospel and presenting it in a format that is both relevant and
accessible to them. My passion is to see night-clubs full of people
worshipping Jesus - I believe the reason this isn't happening is
purely because the gospel has not been presented in a format that
is accessible to them - everyone will believe in Christ once they
see his love for them!
