Using music for creative worship - Ben Askew

I love listening to music and find that it often communicates things that I can't express in other ways. I tend to use a lot of music in my own personal worship and also in the small group and cluster size gatherings I am involved in. The stuff I use tends to fall into two distinct groups, there is instrumental music that creates an atmosphere for worship, and stuff that speaks to me personally and contains lyrics or sounds that are relevant to my life or say something about God. The Golden rule in using this stuff is to be true to yourself. Use the music you like and the stuff that inspires you, whatever that may be. Having said that here are a few things that I particularly like… use it at a springboard to think about what might work for you and for your groups.
