LIVING IT - SOCIAL ACTION - ENGAGING WITH IT PERSONALLY

He ain't heavy - he's my brother

'He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing.' - Deuteronomy 10, 18

Well, we know whose cause God takes up. Are we working with him?

There are many refugees in this country who are often subject to abuse and hatred from locals and the media, which both reflects and affects government policy. Are we with God in taking up their cause?

Is your paper abusive against refugees - how about writing in, not buying it - start the habit of making a response.

Is you church blessing those who God seeks to bless; the fatherless - there are so many broken families in our nation desperate for Jesus; the widow - the same applies, and as the population ages many old people are lonely and scared.

Is our time available to God to love those he loves? Do we think we're too important and have too much to do?

Listen to God and ask him his priorities.
