LIVING IT - STORIES - FRIENDS

Ray Goudie - NGM

A couple of stories from NGM....

In our Birmingham Church plant they have just seen 18 unchurched young people become Christians on a weekend away, and on their return one girl who had just become a Christian , went to school on the Monday and led her friend to Jesus. The Church plant is called Krunch and they have been working with these guys for two and a half years.

Over the summer one of our church planters went to London for the weekend and saw a few sights. She visited Westminster Abbey and as she looked round, she found herself in poets corner and suddenly she felt without warning the Holy Spirit came upon her and she began to weep, and cry, not knowing why!

As she looked round she noticed she was standing by a memorial to the Celtic Bard Caedmon. As you know NGM has just birthed into being our new mission and arts training centre named Caedmon. Caedmon was the first bard to write songs and poetry in the language of the people. We sense that caedmon is part of a new shape of community that God is birthing with NGM that will reach the emerging culture.

More to follow....
