The Sunday evening service at the Roxy is about
gathering all those wanting to express what it is to be church
in a new generation. Aimed at those in the 17 - 35 age range
who are part of a worldview that is past church and past caring,
we want to be a place that responds to our culture's deepest
desires. A place that is spiritual, a place to belong in friendships
& communities, and a place that encourages us to make
a difference in our world.
A place to find life, be
life & live the life.

The service is the base for a number of missional communities
(clusters) - the belonging places where we share our lives.
These are defined by where each one is committed to seeing
Jesus have an impact in our city. They include those with
a focus on students, gen x-ers having families, our workplaces,
café culture, the creative arts, youth culture, club
land, friendship networks & inner city communities.
We also want to have loads of fun & will do everything
with this in mind as we live out our dreams whether that's
meeting with God, supporting one another, playing football
or serving our city.
So for us church is about living it 24-7, a way of life more
than a place to visit, a verb more than a noun. If you are
interested come along & see, join the welcome 'experience',
and find a place to belong that you can call home.

A
city on a hill, well seven to be precise, just like Rome.
It is set in amongst dramatic landscape of the peak national
park.
Sheffield is the fifth largest city in Britain and has major
centres for higher education, shopping, culture (including
the crucible for snooker!) and the arts.
Life here has been transformed from an interesting past being
the steel capital of the world to a city that is being regenerated
and invested in.
The
pastimes are as easy or as hard as you like - from hill walking,
climbing, dry slope skiing (Britain's largest) to relaxing
in the many parks or an exceptional nightclub scene.
There's just something about this place which causes most
graduates to stay on after graduation, we'd like to think
that its us!! Maybe it's the shopping, the scenery, the diversity
or just that it's a lovely, friendly place to be.
We are based in the Roxy in the centre of
Sheffield.
