We are part of the larger church
of Stopsley Baptist Church that is in Luton. There is a leadership
team for N-Vision that consists of the following people: Preston
Hancock who is the small group pastor of the church, Marion
Williams, Gareth Sargent and Becky Hampton.
There are two small groups running
within N-Vision; one is run by Katy Thomson and the
other by Marion Williams and Gareth Sargent.
N-Vision falls into the Small Group ministry of the
church and follows their vision as well as having it's own.
The vision of the small group ministry is that it is: Various
Expression of:
- Small - get to know people and life and faith where it
is at.
- Vibrant - very alive, a group that challenges the system.
- God - centred communities - God focused.
Preston wants to see increasing numbers growing in Christ's
likeness, gifts and impact in the community. He wants to see
the small groups grow in relationships and have an impact
on society.

N-Vision consists of about 35 people who
are in their 20s & 30s. We have a real heart to reach
out to our own generation who are recognised as being drifters
and a directionless generation. We meet together in small
groups once a week but also do a lot of social stuff together
which is of utmost importance! You can often find us having
lunch in one of the local pubs on a Sunday, going to one of
the local bars to meet up altogether and bring friends along,
meals at each others homes, bbqs (when the weather's good!),
going for walks and playing Frisbee and flying kites! We are
living community and hopefully showing others how it should
be done.
N-Vision stands for new vision and we want to envision our
generation. Without vision people perish. People are searching
but cannot find what they are really looking for. We must
go out to envision our generation. "If Christ is lifted
up He will draw all men unto himself."
