NETWORKING - REGISTER FOR ROUGH GUIDE TO BEING CHURCH

Interested in Rough Guide?

We see the process of the Rough Guide as being like a sports coach, living alongside the players and especially you, the captain of the team. The coach's role is to help the team focus the on the task - getting alongside to encourage, inspire, give good practice, motivate and challenge where necessary! A coach full of good ideas, setting the disciplines needed to be effective, considering different tactics and strategy for different games and referring individual players to different experts dependant on whether their injured or in need of honing a skill. The coach is available online whenever needed to work out your personal training regime and to focus you on all your matches and dealings with your team in the real world.

The TG Regional Network in your area can be seen as your 'support team' - people primarily interested in you and your well-being, friends to relate with outside of your immediate situation and those who are there with your best interests as a player in mind (whether they are a physio, counsellor, or drinking buddy!).

The role of the web site can be seen like the PFA, the union that represents the needs of the players in the wider world and is the place to touch base with when you're ready to move on to the next level as a player (& will make that happen in terms of the Rough Guide).

Where do I go from here?

We're happy to engage in this process with you whatever, but if we are most about a 'network of relationships' we'd love to to meet up to get to know you and what you are doing. There are 2 ways to do this:-

1. By far the easiest is to get together at one of the gatherings that we are at throughout the year. Some of these are environments where we gather our network of relationships, others are where we are involved in what other wider conferences are doing. At these gatherings we commit time to hear from one another, worship and seek God together, and have lots of fun! Details about upcoming events can be found in the 'Gatherings' section.

2. Alternatively we'd love to meet up with you on a one-to-one basis. This happens either by getting together with someone from our national team (based in Sheffield) or with one of the leaders of our regional centres (which can be found on our network map).

So if you are interested register your excitement using the form below & our Network Co-ordinator will be in touch to take this forward.

We hope that your involvement with the Rough Guide to Being Church encourages you to feel more supported, equipped and challenged to do all that God is calling you to.
