NETWORKING - BEING CHURCH - WHAT - SMALL GROUPS

A Brief Overview of Small Group

A small group, cell group or home group, it doesn't matter what you call it, is the most fundamental unit within the church community. It provides a secure, intimate place of belonging, where you can explore your gifts and walk of faith.

A fundamental element of small group is to give everyone a voice as to their personal needs, and priorities from the group so that a common vision can be evolved, that everyone owns.

Another key element is just to spend time together having fun and especially eating together - this all builds relationships and a sense of community or extended family.

The Rough Guide to Small Group illustrates how to start and grow a small group into a tribe, giving practical tips and lots of ideas.
